Language of the Work

This page describes the language used throughout the practice.
The terms and metaphors here are not technical instructions, but orientation points — offered to support clarity, safety, and a shared understanding of how the work is framed.

They are intended to be read slowly, without the need for interpretation.
The body is not a tool or an object of observation, but a living field in which experience unfolds.
It often responds before words or thoughts arise — through sensation, rhythm, density, or release.
Within this approach, the body is recognised as a space of presence, rather than something that needs to be fixed.
Inner states are fluid and changeable — much like weather.
They may become dense or clear, tense or calm.
The intention is not to control these movements, but to notice them and learn to orient within them.
The body continuously responds to both inner and outer events.
These responses may be felt as warmth, coolness, pulsation, heaviness, or changes in breathing.
Such signals do not require interpretation — they serve as points of orientation, gently returning attention to the present moment.
Experience in the body is not sensed in a single point, but across multiple layers of sensation and connection.
These layers create a sense of continuity and wholeness in lived experience.
In body-based approaches, this is sometimes described through fascial layers — not as a medical concept — but as a way of naming the body’s interconnected responsiveness as a whole.
Integration refers to the natural process through which experience finds its place over time.
This process is not forced or directed.
As experience settles, a sense of clarity, steadiness, and internal space may emerge — allowing for easier breathing, grounding, and choice.
